#14 Wolfpack Hosts Anderson University Thursday in Free Exhibition

RALEIGH – The 14th-ranked NC State women's basketball team hosts its lone exhibition of the 2019-20 season on Thursday night when Anderson University comes to Raleigh. Tip-off between the Wolfpack and Spartans is scheduled for 7 pm from Kay Yow Court inside Valvano Arena at Reynolds Coliseum with live streaming coverage provided by ACCNX.

Thursday's game is free for all fans. Prior to the game, there will be trick-or-treating on the concourse for Wolfpack fans dressed in Halloween attire.

Entering the seventh season under head coach Wes Moore, NC State has collected multiple preseason accolades. The team is ranked 13th nationally by ESPNW, 14th in the first Associated Press top-25 poll of the season, and was selected to finish second in the Atlantic Coast Conference this season based on votes from the conference coaches and the league's blue ribbon media panel.

Sophomore center Elissa Cunane and senior guard Aislinn Konig earned Preseason All-ACC status and freshman Jakia Brown-Turner was named to the Newcomer Watch List. Cunane was also named one of 20 student-athletes on the Lisa Leslie Award Watch List for the nation's best center, and Konig was named one of 20 shooting guards to the Ann Meyers Drysdale Award Watch List for the nation's top shooting guard.

The Wolfpack officially opens the regular season at home against North Carolina A&T on Wednesday, Nov. 6. NC State will play its first four regular-season games in Raleigh between Nov. 6-19.
