Pack Concludes Undefeated Fall Season

RALEIGH, N.C. - The NC State softball team concluded its fall season Sunday afternoon with a pair of victories in a doubleheader against Wingate at Dail Softball Stadium. The Pack took game one 9-1 before holding on for a 7-5 win the second game of the day. NC State ends its fall schedule with a 7-0-1 record.
Angie Rizzi and Skylar Johnston both hit two home runs Sunday. Sam Russ, Brigette Nordberg, Libby Whittaker and Logan Morris all each hit one.
NC State continued its offense heavy fall, recording at least five runs in all eight games it played. Sunday the team recorded eight between the two games combined.
The Wolfpack have recorded 21 home runs in the fall, hitting at least one in seven of its eight games. After hitting four home runs in 2019, Rizzi led the Pack this fall with five while Johnston had four.
