NC State Wraps Up Regular Season at ECU Invitational

GREENVILLE, N.C. - The NC State men's and women's cross country teams concluded regular-season competition with runners in action at the ECU Pirate Invitational on Friday evening.
MEN'S 8K RECAP:
Tanis Baldwin, Peyton Barish and Ares Epps represented NC State in the men's 8K, with Kyle Durham running unattached.
Epps ran a 24:40.80 to pace the Pack with his ninth-place finish, and Baldwin followed shortly behind in 24:58.19 for 15th overall. Barish (60th, 26:21.00) rounded out the Wolfpack's lineup at the meet.
Durham also finished in the top 20. His 25:09.38 mark was good for 19th place.
WOMEN'S 6K RECAP:
Marissa Bishop represented NC State as the sole runner to race in uniform on the women's side. She crossed the finish line in 23:12.93, which ranked 59th in a field of almost 140 participants.
Sarah LaTour and Lulu Black both competed unattached. LaTour secured a third-place finish in 21:01.60, and Black placed 10th with a time of 21:38.15.
