RALEIGH – Off to its best undefeated start to a season in program history, the NC State women's basketball team (15-0, 2-0 ACC) moved up to eighth in the Associated Press Top-25 Poll on Monday afternoon.

The Wolfpack has spent the last two weeks in the ninth spot of both the AP and USA Today polls. Monday's placement of eighth marks the program's best ranking since Feb. 14, 2000 when NC State was listed seventh.

One of just three remaining unbeaten teams, NC State continues ACC play at home on Thursday night when Pittsburgh comes to town. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 pm from Kay Yow Court inside Valvano Arena at Reynolds Coliseum. The game will be broadcast live on ACC Network Extra/WatchESPN.
