
Five Named To 2018 All-ACC Academic Team

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The NC State women's soccer team had five student-athletes named to the 2018 All-ACC Academic Team on Thursday, as announced by the league office. Hannah Keogh, Tziarra King, Krissi Schuster, Ricci Walkling and Sydney Wootten represented the Wolfpack on the list.
For King and Walkling, this is their third honor in as many years, and for Keogh, Schuster and Wootten it was the second mention of their careers.
All five made the Dean's List and were NC State Scholar-Athletes for the fall semester, while King and Schuster are two of the top-10 scholar-athletes at NC State. Together, the five boasted a combined 3.90 grade-point average for the 2018 fall semester.
King, Schuster and Walking received academic recognition from United Soccer Coaches and CoSIDA last semester thanks to their success on the field and in the classroom. King and Walkling were named to the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-South Region Team, while King and Schuster earned a spot on the CoSIDA Google Cloud Academic All-District Team.
King additionally earned CoSIDA Google Cloud Academic All-America recognition, becoming the second player in program history and first since 2002 to receive the honor.
Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.
