ACC Announces 2019 Preseason Coaches Poll

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced its 2019 Softball Preseason Coaches Poll on Tuesday morning. Voted on by the league's head coaches, NC State was picked 11th in the order of finish.
2018 Women's College World Series champion Florida State was picked as the preseason favorite with 11 first-place votes, followed by Notre Dame and UNC-Chapel Hill.
NC State is slated to open its season Feb. 8 at the USF Opening Weekend Invitational in Tampa, Fla. The Wolfpack will open its home schedule Feb. 15 against Nebraska at 4 p.m. in the 2019 ACC/B1G Challenge at Dail Stadium.
