RALEIGH – Ranked sixth nationally in the latest TopDrawerSoccer poll, the NC State men's soccer team (4-1-0) returns home to host Quinnipiac on Tuesday evening. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 pm from Dail Soccer Stadium with live video coverage provided by ACC Network Extra.

TUESDAY PROMOTIONS
-Heroes Night. First 200 fans to arrive will receive a superhero themed t-shirt.
-Halftime recognition of local heroes.

A WIN ON TUESDAY WOULD...
-Be the 514th win in program history (513-442-92).
-Be the 175th win in HC George Kiefer's career (174-93-55).
-Be Kiefer's 13th win at NC State (12-7-4).

BEST RANKING EVER
In the Sept. 4 United Soccer Coaches rankings, the Wolfpack was listed as eighth in the nation. In the available archives of this ranking system (1997-present), this is the highest ranking ever achieved by the NC State men's soccer program during the course of a season.

BALANCED SCORING AND FIRST CAREER GOALS
NC State's nine goals this season have come from eight different players. Newcomer Gabriel Machado leads the team with two, both of which being game winners.

QUALITY CHANCES
NC State is narrowly trailing its opponents in total shots (48-46) this season but holds a significant edge in shots on goal (24-18). The Wolfpack has scored nine of its 24 (.375) shots on frame so far this year.

INCREDIBLE CROWD
An impressive crowd of 1,938 fans showed up at Dail Soccer Stadium for NC State's home opener on Aug. 24. This beat all home attendance marks from the 2017 and 2016 seasons. This was followed up by a strong crowd of 1,622 for the win over Presbyterian. Fan support at home matches has been very robust this season, with an average of 1,471 Wolfpack supporters attending each match.

NATIONAL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Junior midfielder Gabriel Machado was named the TopDrawerSoccer National Player of the Week (Sept. 4) and ACC Offensive Player of the Week (Sept. 3) after scoring the match-winning goals in wins at No. 2 Akron and vs. Presbyterian.
