#14 Wolfpack Hosts Presbyterian Friday Evening

RALEIGH – Fresh off a 2-0 win at No. 2 Akron on Monday evening, the 14th-ranked and unbeaten NC State men's soccer team (2-0-0) returns home for its next two matches. On Friday evening, NC State will host Presbyterian at Dail Soccer Stadium with kickoff scheduled for 7 pm. The match will be broadcast live on ACC Network Extra.

A WIN ON FRIDAY WOULD...
-Be the 512th win in program history (511-441-92).
-Be the 173rd win in HC George Kiefer's career (172-92-55).

-Be NC State's fifth win over Presbyterian (4-0-0).
-Be NC State's best start to a season since 2015.

WINS OVER THE BEST
With its win at No. 2 Akron on Sept. 27, the Wolfpack has now won three matches against top-five foes since the beginning of the 2017 season. Two of those victories have been on the road.

As of matches played August 28, NC State ranks 20th (of 197 teams) in total goals scored and 34th in team goals against average.

BALANCED SCORING AND FIRST CAREER GOALS
NC State's five goals this season have come from five different players. Four of the five goals were the first in the respective careers of Wolfpack players Ivy Brisma, Aidan Foster, Gabriel Machado, and Brad Sweeney.

Four of the Wolfpack's five goals have been assisted, ranking NC State tied for second in the ACC as of August 30.

GREAT GOAL DIFFERENCE
Through two matches this season, NC State has scored five goals and just allowed one for a goal difference of +4. As of August 30, this ties for the best mark in the ACC with Pittsburgh.

INCREDIBLE CROWD
An impressive crowd of 1,938 fans showed up at Dail Soccer Stadium for NC State's home opener on Aug. 24. This beat all home attendance marks from the 2017 and 2016 seasons.

WATCH EVERY HOME MATCH
All 10 of NC State's home matches this season will be broadcast either online or on television. Nine matches will be carried on ACC Network Extra (WatchESPN) and the Sept. 21 match against Virginia Tech will be shown on Fox Sports South and a collection of additional regional networks around the country.
