King Named To TopDrawerSoccer Preseason Best XI Team

CULVER CITY, Calif. – NC State women's soccer's Tziarra King was named to TopDrawerSoccer's Preseason Best XI Second Team, as announced by the association on Monday.
TopDrawerSoccer's Preseason Best XI shapes out what is projected to be the best talent in the upcoming NCAA Division I women's soccer campaign. The full list can be found here.
This is the third preseason award the junior from Sicklerville, N.J., has earned this month thanks to her impressive campaign in 2017. King was also named to the 2018 Preseason All-ACC Women's Soccer Team and the 2018 MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List.

King ranked fourth in goals (17) and fifth in points (40) in the NCAA, and second among the ACC in both categories in 2017. She garnered First Team All-ACC and United Soccer Coaches All-East Region First Team honors, and additionally finished 26th on TopDrawerSoccer's Top 100 national player rankings and was named to its Best XI Third Team.
NC State opens its season Thursday when it travels to Navy for an 8 p.m. match at the Glenn Warner Soccer Facility. The contest will be streamed on the Patriot League Network.
