Kent Garners EAGL Co-Rookie of the Week Honors

BALTIMORE – After a weekend that saw her tie her career-highs on both bars and beam along with helping the No. 22 NC State gymnastics team post a score of 196.550, Lauren Kent was honored as EAGL Co-Rookie of the Week, as announced by the conference office. She shares the award with Haley Brechwald.
In the Pack's meet at Towson with West Virginia, William & Mary and Cornell, Kent tied for fourth on bars with a score of 9.850 and tied for sixth on beam as she also earned a score of 9.850. Both scores tied her career-highs.
Kent has had a stellar week as she was also named All-EAGL Second-Team on bars and beam yesterday. She has seen action in every meet on bars and in seven meets on beam this season.
