#22 Gymnastics Collects 17 All-EAGL Honors

Pack earns 17 EAGL honors first first time since 2012
BALTIMORE – The NC State gymnastics team had seven gymnasts combine for 17 All-EAGL honors, as announced by the conference office on Monday.
The Pack's 17 EAGL honors marked the first time since 2012 it achieved that many.
"Receiving a first team or second team honor is a direct reflection of hard work, consistency and 'buy in' that the team has exemplified this year," said head coach Kim Landrus. "I am so proud of all that these women have accomplished during the regular season. These honors are very deserving and speaks volumes to their dedication that they've embodied in 2018."
NC State All-EAGL Honorees:
Chelsea Knight – First Team All-EAGL (Vault, Bars, Beam, Floor, All-Around)
Alexa Phillips – First Team All-EAGL (Vault, Floor)
Drew Grantham - First Team All-EAGL (Beam, Floor, All-Around) Second Team All-EAGL (Vault)
Caitlyn Fillard – First Team All-EAGL (All-Around) Second Team All-EAGL (Bars)
Maggie Tamburro – First Team All-EAGL (Bars)
Lauren Kent – Second Team All EAGL (Beam, Bars)
Mackenzie Itcush – Second Team All-EAGL (Floor)
Chelsea Knight led the team with five honors, earning first-team honors on vault (9.865), bars (9.835), beam (9.900), floor (9.885) and all-around (39.400).
Drew Grantham earned four honors; she was first-team on beam (9.850), floor (9.870) and all-around (39.175). Grantham was also second-team on vault (9.830)
Alexa Phillips added two honors as she was named first-team on vault (9.850) and floor (9.865). Caitlyn Fillard also earned a pair of honors as she was named first-team on all-around (39.080) and second-team on bars (9.795). Lauren Kent added a pair of second-team honors on bars (9.820) and beam (9.820)
Maggie Tamburro added a first-team honor on bars (9.835) and Mackenzie Itcush was named second-team on floor (9.845).
First Team All-EAGL on each event and in all-around lists the top-8 ranked gymnasts (including ties) from the eleven-week regular season. Second Team All-EAGL on each event and in all-around lists No. 9 – No. 16 ranked gymnasts (including ties) from the regular season.
