RALEIGH – The #23 NC State gymnastics team competes in its final meet before the commencement of postseason competition when it takes on Towson, West Virginia, William & Mary and Cornell Sunday inside SECU Arena.
From the Coach
"The team is definitely looking forward to traveling to Towson on Sunday, the home of EAGL Championships this year," said head coach Kim Landrus. "The opportunity to compete in the venue and get a feel of the environment will be beneficial for us. With a season high performance at Ohio State, I have emphasized to the team that it is important to exhibit tight-minded gymnastics and trust their training. It's imperative that we approach this competition like every other one that we have had thus far this season."
Last Time Out for NC State
NC State gymnastics team earned a season-high score of 196.800 in its tri-meet against #23 Ohio State and Central Michigan Sunday inside St. John Arena.
Along with being a season-high, the Pack's 196.800 tied the fourth-highest score in program history and the second-highest score in the EAGL this season. NC State's 49.325 tied the highest vault score in school history and Chelsea Knight's all-around score of 39.550 tied the highest all-around score in school history.
The Wolfpack also set four individual career-highs and tied two others.

Ranked #23 in the nation and #2 in the EAGL with an RSQ of 196.155, the Wolfpack is also ranked inside the top-25 on three events; it is #17 on vault with an RQS of 49.095, #24 on floor with an RQS of 49.175 and #24 on beam with a 49.050 RQS. On bars it sits at #32 with a 48.975 RQS
Knight Earns EAGL Weekly Honor for Third Time in 2018
Coming off a weekend that saw her tie the school's all-time best all-around score of 39.550 and help the #23 NC State gymnastics team achieve a season-high of 196.800, Chelsea Knight was named EAGL Gymnast of the Week for the third time this season

Ranked #47 in the nation, Towson has an RQS of 194.815. It's ranked #51 on floor with a 48.830 RQS, #39 on beam with a 48.785 RQS, #39 on bars with a 48.805 RQS and #43 on vault with a 48.795 RQS.
Scouting West Virginia
Ranked #29 in the nation, the Mountaineers have a 195.865 RQS. They are ranked #28 on floor with a 49.135 RQS, #30 on beam with a 48.950 RQS, #39 on bars with a 48.805 RQS and #13 on vault with a 49.130 RQS.
Scouting Cornell
Cornell is ranked #59 in the nation and has a 192.940 RQS. Its ranked #60 on floor with an RQS of 48.605, #61 on beam with a 48.345 RQS, #57 on bars with a 48.480 RQS and #60 on vault with a 48.145 RQS.
Scouting William & Mary
The Tribe has an RQS of 193.300 to be ranked #58 nationally. On floor its ranked #65 with a 48.360 RQS, #59 on beam with a 48.345 RQS, #58 on bars with a 48.415 RQS and #55 on vault with a 48.500 RQS.
NCAA Regional
