RALEIGH, N.C. – After posting its highest away score of the season last weekend, 195.925, the NC State gymnastics teams returns to Reynolds Coliseum Saturday evening when it hosts #6 Michigan, UNC-Chapel Hill & Brown at 6 p.m.

"Saturday's meet is going to be special," said head coach Kim Landrus. "We are welcoming back the alumnae who were such an integral part of Pack gymnastics. We've been on the road for the past several meets, so we are thrilled to be back in front of our loyal fans. Their enthusiasm for the program creates an indescribable feeling!"

Last Time Out for NC State
Competing in a quad meet at Texas Woman's with #15 Auburn and Pittsburgh last Sunday, the Wolfpack posted a score of 195.925, its highest away score of the season and its second-highest score overall. The Pack also earned a season-high score on vault of 49.175. It also set four individual career-highs, tied four individual career-highs, set one individual season-high and tied two individual season-highs during the meet.
Pack in the Polls
NC State's average score of 195.229 has them at #29 nationally and #2 in the EAGL. The Wolfpack's floor average of 49.107 has them #2 in the EAGL, its beam average of 48.650 has them #3, its 48.738 bars average has it at #3 and on vault it sits at #3 with a 48.825 average score.
Individually, Drew Grantham is the #2 all-arounder in the EAGL as holds an average score of 39.160. She is also ranked #4 on floor, averaging 9.383 while Alexa Phillips is tied for #6 with a 9.825 average. Lauren Kent has an average beam score of 9.850 to rank #2 in the conference.
Scouting Brown
Brown was last in competition on Feb. 11 where it took part in a quad meet at Maryland, Rutgers and William & Mary. The Bears finished fourth and posted an all-around score of 193.325.
The Bears are ranked #64 in the latest Road to Nationals rankings. They are ranked #70 on floor with a 47.525 average score, #62 on beam with a 47.695 average score, #54 on bars with a 48.220 average score and #66 on vault with a 47.555 average score.
Scouting Michigan
The Wolverines have won four-consecutive Big Ten Championships, are ranked #6 in the latest Road to Nationals poll and have a 5-1 record on the season. They most recently competed on Feb. 10 and posted a score of 197.250 to defeat Michigan State.
They average 49.075 on floor to rank #20 nationally, 49.163 on beam which is #6 in the country, are #7 in the nation on bars with a 49.233 average score and are #8 on vault, averaging 49.092.
Scouting UNC-Chapel Hill
The Tar Heels are ranked #34 in the most recent Road to Nationals poll and have an average all-around score of 195.020. They have a 2-3 record on the season and last competed against Oklahoma on Feb. 11. UNC-CH posted a score of 195.750 in the meet.
They are ranked #20 on vault (48.975), #38 on bars (48.565), #47 on beam (48.325) and #10 on floor (49.155).
NCAA Regional
NC State will host the 2018 NCAA Gymnastics Raleigh Regional on Saturday, April 7th at 4:00 p.m. in Reynolds Coliseum. Tickets for this meet are on sale now at GoPack.com/BuyTickets.

- Alumni Meet: Help welcome back the NC State Gymnastics Alumni to Reynolds Coliseum!
- Girl Scout Day: Girl Scouts can take advantage of the $3 admission deal by calling the NC State Ticket Office at (919) 865-1510. All girl scouts in attendance will receive an NC State Scout Patch and can sign up HERE to participate in a hi-five tunnel prior to the meet.
- GymTalk: Prior to the meet, assistant coach Bob Starkell will host a short ChalkTalk session highlighting the team's preparation for the meet. RSVP HERE!
