RALEIGH – The NC State gymnastics teams resumes competition Saturday when it competes in a quad meet in Denton, Texas, against Texas Woman's University, #15 Auburn and Pittsburgh inside Kitty Magee Arena.

"We are excited to travel to TWU and participate in another championship type environment with host TWU, #15 Auburn, and the University of Pittsburgh," said head coach Kim Landrus. "It's a great opportunity for the team to build on their season long goals and continue to strive for excellence in all that they do. I know they are hungry to get back out on the competition floor and take another step forward in our 2018 journey."

Last Time Out
The Wolfpack posted a score of 194.600 and finished first in a quad meet at Pittsburgh with Temple and Towson. NC State earned 11 top-five finishes and tied four career-highs along with two individual season-highs.

Pack in the Polls
NC State currently ranks #30 in the nation and #2 in the EAGL with an average team score of 195.090. It's score of 196.350 is the second-highest total score in the EAGL in 2018 behind George Washington's 196.525.

As a team, NC State ranks third in the EAGL on all four events; its floor average is 49.010, its vault average is 48.775, its bars average is 48.690 and its beam average is 48.635.

Individually, Drew Grantham has the highest average all-around score in the EAGL, 39.156. Chelsea Knight is tied for #4 with an average of 39.090. Knight's beam average of 9.840 is also the second-highest in the EAGL while Grantham's ranked #6 on floor with an average score of 9.875.

The Pioneers have a 3-3 record on the season, most recently competing against Centenary College on Feb. 4 and winning 192.650 – 189.750
TWU has an average all-around score of 192.470 which has them ranked #54 nationally
TWU has an average floor score of 48.145 to rank #60, an average beam score of 47.850 to rank #57, an average bars score of 47.770 to rank #59 and an average vault score of 48.705 to rank #40

Scouting #15 Auburn

The Tigers have a record of 2-5 on the season and have an average all-around score of 196.060, which has them ranked #15 nationally
While Auburn lost it most recent meet to #5 Florida on Feb. 2, it posted a season-high all-around score of 197.000
The Tigers are ranked #9 nationally on vault (49.085), #11 on bars (49.035), #12 on beam (49.070) and #35 on floor (48.450)

Scouting Pittsburgh
Pitt has a 2-5 record and hosted NC State, Temple & Towson on Feb. 3 in a quad meet where it posted a score of 193.125 and finished third
The Panthers are ranked #44 nationally and have an average all-around score of 194.150
Pitt has an average vault score of 48.556 to be ranked #44, an average bar score of 48.775 to be ranked #26, an average beam score of 47.969 to be ranked #54 and an average floor score of 48.850 to be ranked #35
