The Pack gymnastics squad claimed the top spot in the 2019 EAGL Preseason Poll earlier this fall.
Finishing the 2018 season ranked 20th in the nation, the Wolfpack earned its highest end-of-season ranking since 2012 in its first year with Kim Landrus at the helm. It was the second time in 18 years that NC State had finished as a top-20 team.
Standing atop the rankings is defending national champion, UCLA, with Oklahoma narrowly trailing behind the Bruins. The full 2019 WCGA Preseason Poll release can be accessed here.

Straight from the Pack: Coach Kim Landrus
"The preseason poll is voted on by our peers, so to be ranked in the top 25 shows they noticed the success we had last year. Now it's our job to work and execute so that we are able to maintain or surpass that ranking. Coming off the Red and White Exhibition on Saturday, I am confident that this team is ready for the season to start.
The ladies have finals this week and then we will finish with a four-event intrasquad before the team enjoys a holiday break with family and friends. Upon returning, I know they will be ignited and ready to work hard before opening up the season at Michigan State."
