Smith Wraps Up Competition at Charleston 25k

Freshman Alana Smith Finishes Week 4-2
Charleston, S.C. --Â Alana Smith wrapped up competition at the Charleston 25k Thursday. She finished the week with a 4-2 record.
On Thursday, she dropped her doubles quarterfinal match with Natasha Subhash to Anna Danilina and Victoria Muntean, 3-6, 6-1, (7-10).
Smith started out the tournament strong, posting a 4-0 record in the first three days, including a 3-0 singles record. She defeated Joelle Kissell, the winningest singles player in Wolfpack women's tennis history, on Tuesday to earn a spot in the singles main draw. The Maryland native earned her way into the main draw of singles competition and competed in the main draw of doubles competition, an impressive display for the new Wolfpack member.
