Rogers Earns Bid to ITA National Fall Championships

Junior Anna Rogers to Compete in Arizona
TEMPE, Ariz. --  NC State women's tennis junior Anna Rogers has earned an ITA At-Large Selection for the 2018 Oracle ITA National Fall Championships on Nov. 7-11 at the Surprise Tennis and Racquet Complex in Surprise, Ariz.
Ranked No. 66 in the 2018 Oracle/ITA Division I Women's Rankings, Rogers has posted a 5-2 record against ranked opponents in the 2018 fall season.  Rogers will be one of 13 ACC players to compete in the singles Round of 64 starting on Wednesday, Nov. 7.
To be considered for an at-large selection in singles competition, a player must have reached the quarterfinals of the Oracle ITA Masters, the round of 16 of the All-American Championships or the quarterfinals of an ITA Regional Championship.
Rogers advanced to the to the singles quarterfinal round by defeating No. 60 Alexa Graham (UNC-CH), 7-6 (3), 6-1, at the ITA Carolina Regional. She finished the weekend 3-1 in singles competition.
