Saveljic Brothers Earn Selection to ITA National Fall Championships

TEMPE, Ariz.– NC State men's tennis players Igor Saveljic and Ivan Saveljic qualified for the 2018 Oracle ITA National Fall Championships as they earned an at-large bid to compete in the doubles bracket. The tournament, which marks the culmination of the collegiate fall season, will take place Nov. 7-11 at the Surprise Tennis and Racquet Complex in Surprise, Ariz.
The 15th-ranked duo was one of four ACC pairs to earn a spot at the national tournament after most recently reaching the doubles semifinal round at the ITA Carolina Regional. Igor and Ivan posted a 3-1 mark over the course of the regional tournament and became the Wolfpack's second pair in as many years to reach the semifinals.
Igor and Ivan will begin doubles competition in the Round of 32 on Wednesday, Nov. 7. A full list of qualifiers for the only event on the college tennis calendar to feature competitors from across all divisions can be found here.
