Women's Tennis Has Strong Showing at Day One of River Oaks Invite

Wolfpack Posts a 7-2 Record
HOUSTON, Texas --Â The NC State women's tennis team posted a 7-2 record in the first day of competition at the River Oaks Invitational in Houston, Texas, on Friday. The Wolfpack's 7-2 record included a 4-1 singles record and a 3-1 doubles record.
Bianca Moldovan picked up a ranked singles win against Rice's No. 105 Linda Huang. Moldovan dropped her first set but bounced back to claim wins in the next two sets.
