2017 REWIND:
NC State's women enter the 2018 conference meet as the two-time defending champions after picking up their second ACC title in a row in 2017. All five scorers finished among the top 25 runners, including a 3-4-5 punch that paved the way to the Wolfpack's 43 points tallied as a squad. The score was better than the rest of the field by 66 points. Five members of the Wolfpack earned spots on the All-ACC team, a league best on the women's side of the races.
The Pack men took third at last season's ACC Championships, marking the squad's second-straight third-place finish. Three of NC State's men, all of whom return to the team this season, earned All-ACC honors in 2017.
TRADITION OF ACC EXCELLENCE:
In addition to its recent successes at the ACC Championships, the Wolfpack has proved itself as the most dominant program at the conference meet since its establishment. Under the leadership of head coaches Rollie Geiger and Laurie Henes, NC State's men and women lead the ACC having won a combined 37 ACC titles since Geiger won his first conference title with the Wolfpack women in 1979.
