Wolfpack seeks fourth win over a ranked foe this season

RALEIGH – The 21st-ranked NC State men's soccer team (8-4-2, 2-3-1 ACC) hosts another ranked opponent Saturday evening when No. 24 Syracuse comes to Raleigh. Kickoff from Dail Soccer Stadium is scheduled for 7 pm with live video coverage provided by ACC Network Extra.
SATURDAY PROMOTIONS
-Senior Night.
-Free Bojangles chicken biscuits to first 100 students.
-Heroes Night. First 200 fans will receive a free NC State superhero t-shirt. Halftime recognition for three NC State ROTC officers and their families.
-Teacher Appreciation Night.
-High School Night.
HONORING THE SENIORS
On Saturday evening, NC State will honor the careers of seniors Simon Blotko, Stephen Elias, Nick Retzlaff, Tanner Roberts, Christoph Schneuwly, Cjay Sparks, and Ade Taiwo in a prematch ceremony.
Combined, these seven seniors have appeared in 315 matches for the Wolfpack, scoring 27 goals and recording 33 assists.

-Be the 518th win in program history (517-445-94).
-Be the 179th win in HC George Kiefer's career (178-96-57).
-Be Kiefer's 17th win at NC State (16-10-6).

SEEKING CONSECUTIVE NCAA TOURNAMENTS
The Wolfpack's appearance in the 2017 NCAA Tournament was the program's first since 2009. If NC State were to qualify for the 2018 NCAA Tournament, it would mark the first time the program qualified for back-to-back postseasons since the 1991 and 1992 seasons.
