
Saveljics End Play at ITA Carolina Regional in Semifinals

CARY, N.C. – NC State men's tennis seniors Igor Saveljic and Ivan Saveljic advanced past South Carolina's Raphael Lambling and Daniel Rodriguez in the ITA Carolina Regional doubles quarterfinal round before falling in the semifinals Monday at the Cary Tennis Park.
The 15th-ranked duo posted a 3-1 mark over the course of the regional tournament and became the Wolfpack's second pair in as many years to reach the semifinal round. Igor and Ivan took down Lambling and Rodrigues by a 7-5, 6-4 score Monday morning but were edged by UNC-Chapel Hill's Blaine Boyden and Anu Kodali 6-4, 7-6 (1) in the semifinal later in the afternoon.
The Wolfpack wrapped up action at the ITA Carolina Regional and will turn its attention to the remainder of its fall slate.
