RALEIGH – Tied with No. 5 Notre Dame for being the hottest team in the Atlantic Coast Conference right now, the NC State women's basketball team (16-5, 5-3 ACC) takes its four-game winning streak and concludes its current three-game road trip at Clemson on Sunday afternoon. Tip-off between the Wolfpack and Tigers is scheduled for 3 p.m. with live video coverage provided by the ACC's Regional Sports Network affiliates (Fox Sports South in Raleigh).

Despite graduating four senior starters and their accompanying 43.5 points per game from the 2016-17 squad, the 2017-18 Wolfpack has the exact same record through 21 games (16-5) as it did last season. Despite preseason predictions of 10th (coaches) and eighth (media), the Wolfpack is currently tied for fifth in the ACC standings.

At 995 career points, senior forward Chelsea Nelson has improved steadily during her four years at NC State:

Freshman: 4.9 points and 4.0 rebounds per game.
Sophomore: 7.2 points and 5.0 rebounds per game.
Junior: 11.2 points and 6.0 rebounds per game.
Senior: 13.0 points and 9.5 rebounds per game.
