RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State gymnastics team will look to continue its impressive start to the season Friday night when it hits the road for a dual against UNC-Chapel Hill at 7:00 pm. inside Carmichael Gymnasium.
"Personally, I'm looking forward to the UNC meet on Friday as this will be 'a first' for me in their arena," said head coach Kim Landrus. "The rivalry between NC State and UNC-Chapel Hill is a big one and I know the girls are excited about competing there and bringing 'red' to their 'blue out.' As a team we are looking to build off what we did last weekend. After the meet, we talked a lot about 'the little things'. The last two days of practice, there has been a great deal of focus on trying to get 'a half tenth better.' Friday is show time and I'm ready to see how they transfer what they worked on to the competition floor."
