Kline Makes Senior National Debut at USA Diving Nationals

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Representing Red Wolf Elite Diving Club, Madeline Kline wrapped up her senior national debut with a score of 210.6 in the Women's 1M event at the USA Diving National Championship, being hosted at the Ohio State University McCorkle Aquatic Center. The NC State sophomore's score was good for 20th place. She narrowly missed qualifying for the top eight, falling short by just 16 points.Â
"We came for the experience and to better prepare her for the upcoming NCAA season" said head diving coach, Yahya Radman. "The goal was to see how our mechanics stack up against the best in the country, and it turns out she stacks up nicely. The goal was to be in the top 25. I'm happy with the process, but the results will speak for themselves down the road."
The Pack returns to action with James Brady on platform on Thursday morning at 9:00 a.m. Results can be followed at DiveMeets.com.
