Fox Earns ACC Swimmer of the Week Honors

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Atlantic Coast Conference announced its weekly swimming and diving honors Tuesday evening, with NC State senior Jerry Fox earning ACC Male Swimmer of the Week honors.
Fox made a strong first impression in both individual and relay events over the weekend, recording first-place finishes in the 50 and 100 yard freestyle. His performances set CSL records in both events, while his time in the 100 freestyle also established a new FMC Natatorium pool record.
Fox also helped lead the Wolfpack men's 200 freestyle relay to a first-place finish, setting another pool record in the event.
In addition, Fox competed as part of NC State's inaugural Super Skins 200 medley relay, helping the Wolfpack advance to the championship round. Fox posted an impressive 18.58 second anchor split in the third race, securing the Pack's spot in the final.
Fox is expected to be back in the pool Next Friday, October 16 to compete in the CSL Match #5 in Walnut California.Â
