41 Named to ACC Academic Honor Roll

Graduate student Kaitlyn Kramer has been named to the 61st annual Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll for the fifth time of her career, headlining a list of 41 honorees from the Wolfpack Cross Country/Track and Field programs. The distance runner from Charlotte was one of only 34 league student-athletes in the league to be honored for the fifth time.

Lauren Velasco, Amber Whitley, Alyssa Rudawsky and Sam Parsons were named to the list for the fourth time of their careers, while eight Wolfpack competitors earned the honor for the third time. Those three-time honorees include: Rachel Bartelomeo, Mary Grace Doggett, Joshua Gandy, Erika Kemp, Aaron Thomas, Alec Thomas, Wyatt Maxey, and Grant Rivers.

The ACC Honor Roll recognizes academic excellence by the league's student-athletes during the 2016-17 academic year. It is comprised of student-athletes who participated in a varsity-level sport and registered a grade point average of 3.0 or better for the full academic year. The conference recognized a record 4,472 student-athletes for their hard work in the classroom.
