Pack Throwers Set Personal Marks at Liberty Twilight Meet

RALEIGH, N.C. - NC State throwers threw personal bests in two different events today at the Liberty Twilight Meet in Lynchburg, Va.
The Wolfpack took the top two spots in the women's shot put, led by RS-sophomore Lauren Evans, who shattered her previous PR in the outdoor event with a winning throw of 15.72m (51'7). That mark should qualify her for the NCAA regional field.
Finishing second in the shot put was senior Alyssa Dunn, who threw a 14.85m (48'8.75"). Dunn also finished third in the discus with a personal best of 46.52m (152'7").
In the Pack's final event of the day, Evans took fourth place in the hammer throw with a 54.48m (178'09) throw.
