RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State women's soccer team continued its unbeaten run this spring with a 3-0 win over Richmond on Saturday at Dail Soccer Stadium. NC State is now 2-0-1 on the season.
Kia Rankin, Hannah Keogh and Emma Willard all scored. In goal, Sydney Wootten and Harley James combined for the shutout.
"We continue to improve each week while being able to get the entire roster a lot of valuable playing time," head coach Tim Santoro said. "We'll take the same approach this week in training to get better in certain areas and we'll be ready to go on the road against two solid programs next week."
NC State will face Clemson and South Carolina at the Twin City Southern Showcase at BB&T Soccer Complex in Clemmons, N.C., Saturday, April 8.
