No. 28 NC State Falls to No. 6 Georgia Tech

RALEIGH- The No. 28 NC State women's tennis team fell to No. 6 Georgia Tech on Friday at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center with a 7-0 result. The loss moves the Wolfpack to a 17-9 (6-7 ACC) record while the Yellow Jackets improve to 23-2 (13-0 ACC).

Match Recap
Georgia Tech started the match with a win in doubles as Rasheeda McAdoo and Johnnise Reaud defeated the Wolfpack's Bianca Moldovan and Claudia Wiktorin by a final score of 6-2 on court two while Nami Otsuka and Alexa Anton-Ohlmyeyer won on court three by a 6-1 decision.
In singles, the Yellow Jackets carried their momentum with straight set wins on courts five and two, while the team earned a point on court six by default to clinch the match.
Georgia Tech closed out the match earning wins on court one and four in straight sets while Adriana Reami challenged No. 81 Paige Hourigan on court three in a three-setter but fell short of a win with a final score of 6-2, 6-7, 10-8.

The Wolfpack will return to the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center on Sunday at 11 a.m. for its final home match as it plays Louisville. Before play begins, the team will honor Martina Frantova in a senior celebration.
