Frantova/Rogers Move to No. 13 in ITA Doubles Poll

NC State ranked No. 28 in team standings
TEMPE, Ariz.—In the latest Oracle/ITA poll, NC State's doubles team of Martina Frantova and Anna Rogers reached its highest ranking of the season, moving up to No. 13. The tandem holds a 19-1 (11-1 ACC) record playing at the top doubles position and has won 13 matches in a row.
During the duo's last match, Frantova and Rogers defeated Virginia Tech's Francesca Fusinato and Caroline Daxhelet by a 6-4 decision.
Additionally, Frantova was ranked No. 73 in the singles poll, falling slightly from her previous rank. She owns a 11-12 (4-8 ACC) record. Last time out, the senior was defeated by No. 102 Francesca Fusinato by a final score of 6-3, 6-4.
In the team poll, the Wolfpack moved to No. 28 after losing to Virginia Tech on the road last weekend. NC State has a record of 17-8 (6-6 ACC) and will host its final two matches of the regular season this weekend at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center. On Friday, the team will face Georgia Tech at 5 p.m. followed by an 11 a.m. match on Sunday against Louisville.
