Women’s Golf Checks In at No. 19 In Latest GolfWeek Rankings

Clyburn ranks 33rd in national player rankings
RALEIGH - With national postseason play set to begin next month, the NC State women's golf team checks in at No. 19 in the latest GolfWeek national rankings, released on Tuesday morning.
The Wolfpack wrapped up play on Saturday at the ACC Championship with a sixth-place finish, which was highlighted by Sarah Bae (T11) and Laura Kowohl's (T25) top 25 individual finishes.
As a team NC State has collected eight top 10 finishes this year, including a team win at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic on Feb. 12-14 and a season low 282 (-6) in its dual match with Hawai'i.
India Clyburn has had a stellar sophomore campaign, as she is listed at No. 33 in the latest national player rankings with a 74.6 stroke average. She has garnered seven top 20 finishes and turned in 15 rounds at even par or better.
From the ACC No. 8 Duke, No. 15 Miami and No. 25 Wake Forest all join the Wolfpack in the top 25 of the latest poll, while Alabama holds the top spot.
NC State will await its fate for the NCAA Regional Championship, which will be contested May 8-10 at four sites. The selection show will be held April 27 at 11 a.m. on the Golf Channel.
