Former @PackWrestle All-American Gantt to Wrestle in Border Brawl

RALEIGH, N.C. – Before the NCAA Championships take place next week in St. Louis, 2016 NC State All-American Tommy Gantt will be competing in the Missouri Border Brawl. The event is a fundraiser that raises money for both the Xtreme Couture GI Foundation and Connection Wrestling.

"I am really excited to be competing in this event," said Gantt. "It will be a great match, and it is for a great cause. It's an exciting way to kick off NCAA week in St. Louis."

Gantt, a Cahokia, Ill. native, will be facing Canada's Haislan Garcia. Garcia wrestled in both the 2008 and 2012 Olympics for Canada. In 2012, he advanced to the quarterfinals before losing to the eventual gold medalist.

The event will take place on Match 14 at 7 p.m. at the Union Station Hotel, two days before the NCAA Championships get underway.
