Women’s Soccer Releases Spring Schedule

RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State women's soccer team has released its spring schedule, as announced by head coach Tim Santoro. The Pack will play six matches during the spring season, highlighted with two home matches at Dail Soccer Stadium. The competitive schedule features three teams that advanced to the NCAA Championship, the ACC regular season champion and the SEC regular season champion.
Schedule:
March 18: Wake Forest, 1 p.m., Winston-Salem, NC
March 25: VCU, 5 p.m., Richmond, Va. *
April 1: Richmond, 2 p.m., Raleigh, N.C.
April 8: Clemson, 10 a.m., Clemmons, N.C. ^
April 8: South Carolina, 2 p.m., Clemmons, N.C.^
April 22; Liberty, 1 p.m., Raleigh, N.C.
*(in conjunction with Jefferson Cup)
^ (in conjunction with Southern Showcase at BB&T Soccer Park)
NC State will open its spring season on the road with a match against ACC opponent Wake Forest March 18th before traveling to Richmond, Va., to face VCU March 25th. The match will be played in conjunction with the Jefferson Cup.
NC State will open its home slate April 1st with a match against Richmond at Dail Soccer Stadium. The following weekend the Pack will travel to Clemmons, N.C., for matches against ACC Regular Season Champion, Clemson and SEC Regular Season Champion, South Carolina at the Southern Showcase at BB&T Soccer Park.
The Pack will conclude the spring schedule April 22nd with a home match against Big South Tournament Champions Liberty. NC State's home spring soccer matches are open to the public and free to attend.
