
Wolfpack Falls to 14th-Ranked Florida State

Terry Henderson leads NC State with 17 points
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The NC State men's basketball team fell to #14/15 Florida State, 95-71, Wednesday night at the Donald L. Tucker Center. With the loss, the Pack falls to 14-11, 3-9 ACC, while the Seminoles improve to 21-4, 9-3 ACC.
The Wolfpack was led by senior guard Terry Henderson who finished with 17 points. Henderson connected on a game-high four three-pointers. Abdul-Malik Abu and Maverick Rowan each added 16 points for NC State. Dennis Smith, Jr., finished with eight points and a game-high six assists, but did not record a steal in the game against the Seminoles. It was the first time since the Illinois game on Nov. 29 that Smith did not record at least one steal.
Torin Dorn came off-the-bench to score all eight of NC State's bench points.
Florida State controlled the backboard as the Seminoles out-rebounded the Pack, 49-25. The Seminoles finished with 21 offensive rebounds in the game as they outscored NC State, 19-6, on second chance points and 48-28 in points in the paint.
Jonathan Issac led Florida State with a game-high 21 points.
NC State is back in action Saturday at noon when it travels to Winston-Salem, N.C., to take on Wake Forest. The game will be televised on RSN.
