Pack Divers Record Four Top 20 Finishes On Final Day of Tennessee Diving Invite

Brady takes eighth on platform
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The NC State diving team posted four more top 20 finishes on Thursday at the Tennessee Diving Invitational inside the Jones Aquatic Center, giving the program a total of 10 for the three-day meet.
James Brady was the top finisher for the Wolfpack men as he finished eighth in the men's platform competition with a score of 303.60. Additionally, Harrison Mitchell finished 11th with a mark of 289.40 and Stewart Spanbauer took 20th after turning in a career-best score of 240.25.
For Brady and Stewart, this marked their third top 20 finish in as many events at the invitational, while Mitchell recorded his second of the week on Thursday.
Madeline Kline once again led the way on the women's side, as she finished 13th on platform with a career-best score of 210.70. This marked her second top 15 finish of the meet as she also finished 12th in the women's three-meter on Tuesday.
Bailey Revels additionally notched a career best on platform, as she finished 36th with a mark of 145.05.
"Today was a day of trial and error, but unfortunately there were more errors than trials," Yahya Radman. "We need to go back to the drawing board, get back to some basics and clean up some of the things we need to do leading up to the championship season. With crunch time essentially now I'm pleased with some things but there's others that need addressing. I'm excited though with where we are and look forward to these next few competitions in preparing for the championship season."
NC State will return to action Jan. 12-14, as select members of the team will head to Austin, Texas, for the Arena Pro Swim Series.
