RALEIGH – The No. 18/18 NC State women's basketball team (15-5, 5-2 ACC) closes a three-game home stand Thursday evening when Pittsburgh (12-7, 3-3 ACC) comes to town. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. from Kay Yow Court inside Reynolds Coliseum. Live coverage will be provided by ACC Network Extra.

The No. 21/21 NC State women's basketball team (15-5, 5-2 ACC) defeated visiting Clemson Sunday afternoon on Kay Yow Court inside Reynolds Coliseum, winning by a final score of 65-53. The victory was the Wolfpack's eighth straight in the series with the Tigers and was NC State's 11th home win of the season.

Clemson (11-9, 0-7 ACC) proved to be quite scrappy in a game that featured four ties and four lead changes. The Wolfpack led for 33:17 of the game's 40 minutes, but the Tigers were often within striking range until NC State took control of the game by scoring 18 of 26 points in the fourth quarter.

NC State was led offensively by a game-high 16 points from senior Dominique Wilson. She was joined in double figures by Jennifer Mathurin (15 points, six rebounds), Chelsea Nelson (12 points, five rebounds), and Miah Spencer (11 points, seven rebounds, five assists).
