Quotes from the Wolfpack
NC State head coach Wes Moore's opening statement: "You have to give Clemson a lot of credit for today. Today proves that you have to be ready to play every day. We can't just roll out there and throw our NC State jersey out there and win. I always love what Coach Doeren says: that we're a hands in the dirt type school. We're a blue collar team that really has to work for everything we get. Fortunately in the fourth period we got the ball inside some and got a few turnovers and hit enough shots to get it done, but I am concerned that we gave up too many boards. We had a hard time keeping Collier off the glass and had a hard time keeping Edwards in front of us off the bounce. We probably played more zone today than we've played in any game all year. Hopefully we can learn from this and come out ready to go Thursday night."
NC State returns to action at home on Thursday, Jan. 26 against Pittsburgh. Tip-off between the Wolfpack and Panthers is set for 7 p.m. from Kay Yow Court inside Reynolds Coliseum.
