Wolfpack to host Ball State, William and Mary
RALEIGH – After a two-meet road swing the No. 24 NC State gymnastics team returns home Friday to host Ball State and William and Mary in a tri-meet. The matchup is slated for a 7 p.m. start inside Reynolds Coliseum.

Last Time Out
After a team score of 193.900 in its tri-meet last Friday at Utah State, NC State made a quick turnaround on Monday afternoon with its dual meet at No. 15 Georgia, bouncing back with a final score of 194.800 inside Stegeman Coliseum.
The Wolfpack improved by nine-tenths of a point from its last outing to Monday, as the GymDogs finished with a 196.875 - their highest score of the 2017 season. The team posted a season-best score on floor (48.875), as well as four career-best individual event scores. Of the eight top-five event finishes NC State collected, Chelsea Knight and Paris Phillips earned three a piece.

William and Mary holds a 189.800 team average and is ranked 63rd in this week's national poll. The Tribe opened their season finishing fourth in a quad meet at Rutgers with New Hampshire and Bridgeport, posting a score of 188.275. Last week the squad defeated Alaska Anchorage, 191.325-188.950, in its home opener.
