Moore Wraps Up U.S. Open Showing With Fifth-Place Finish In 200 IM

Moore posts five top-five finishes on the week
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. Junior Hannah Moore of the NC State swimming and diving team wrapped up a #STATEment showing on Saturday afternoon at the 2016 United States Open with a fifth-place finish in the 200m individual medley.
Held inside the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center this marks the fourth top-five finish of the week, as she posted a peronal-best time of 2:16.29.
Earlier in the week she earned a runner-up finish in the 800m freestyle, finished third in the 200m backstroke and fourth in the 400m IM, notching personal-best marks in all three events.
NC State will turn its focus to the 2016 Summer Olympic Games, as Simonas Bilis, Soren Dahl, Anton Ipsen and Ryan Held of the men's program will compete in Rio de Janeiro from Aug. 6-13.Â
