Dunand Erupts, Cape League MVP

#Pack9's Joe Dunand breaks out for Harwich in the Cape Cod League
NC State's Joe Dunand earned Perfect Game First Team Summer Collegiate All-America honors following eight doubles, five homers, 24 RBIs and a .326 average as the Co-MVP of the Harwich Mariners.
Dunand represents the only Cape league player on Perfect Game's first team this summer.
The rising junior also landed on the the Cape Cod Year-End All-League Team, and Baseball America's Cape Cod League Top Prospects list.
Harwich finished second in the regular season, falling in the playoffs to Chatham. Dunand shared his team MVP award with Virginia's Ernie Clement.
Durand looks to build on his career-best 2016, a year the sophomore belted four homers and 18 doubles over 58 starts, constructing a .297 average to lead the Pack to the doorstep of a Super Regional berth.
