Clyburn, Kowohl Wrap Up Summer Golf With Strong Tournament Play

India Clyburn and Laura Kowohl of the NC State women's golf team recently wrapped up their summer golf schedules with strong play in their respective tournaments.
Clyburn turned in an eighth-place finish at the English Women's Open Amateur Championship with a four-day total of 294 ( 2). She carded two scores of 73 and two of 74, as the championship was played at Bristol and Clifton Golf Club.
Kowohl is a member of St. Leon-Rot, a club team in Germany. Her team captured the 1. Bundesliga Final Four Championship title on Sunday. St. Leon-Rot clinched the second spot in the south division to qualify for the 'Final Four' Championship in July, and proceeded to win the semifinals and finals with scores of 6.5-2.5.
Kowohl managed to win her semifinals singles match, 5&4, and halved her match in the finals.
