Kornegay-Gober Advances to Finals, Crawford, Perry Finish Top-20

EUGENE, Ore. – Former Wolfpack high jumper Kris Kornegay-Gober advanced to the USATF Olympic Trials finals in the high jump and Graham Crawford and Alexis Perry concluded their action at trials, posting top-20 finishes in their respective events.
100m Hurdles:
Perry kicked off the action, finishing seventh in her heat and 15th overall with a time of 13.23. Perry concludes her Olympic Trials with a pair of top-15 finishes. The Durham, N.C., native finished 13th in the long jump.
She will now shift her focus to the NACAC u23 Championships, where she and Jonathan Addison will represent Team USA in the long jump.
1,500m:
Graham Crawford also concluded his meet, finishing seventh in his heat and 18th overall in 3:49.15. Crawford's heat took a slower pace and set up for a strong final kick. The Burlington, N.C., native closed the final 400m of the race in 54.32 seconds.
High Jump:
Kornegay-Gober cleared 7'0.25" on his second attempt to book his spot in the high jump finals. The Zensah/Shore AC athlete finished tied for sixth overall and is one of 14 athletes set to compete in Sunday's final.
Kornegay-Gober is the current indoor high jump school record holder and has cleared 7'4.25" in the event. He will jump in the final for a top-three spot and Olympic spot Sunday at 6 p.m.
