RALEIGH, N.C. – The No. 32 NC State men's tennis team earned five singles wins in route to a 5-2 victory over No. 33 Dartmouth. The win marked the end of a two-match losing skid and NC State's second win over a ranked opponent this season.

Match Recap:
NC State lost the doubles point, falling on each court. The team quickly rebounded with a three straight-set wins to take command of the match.

The Pack's upperclassmen all dominated near the front of the line up. Simon Norenius won first at No. 1 singles, defeating No. 18 Dovydas Sakinis, 6-3, 6-2. Fellow senior Thomas Weigel also answered with a decisive, 6-3, 6-4 win on court four, and Nick Horton increased the lead to 3-1 with a 7-5, 6-1, win at the No. 2 singles position.

After two tough sets, which both ended in tiebreakers, Ivan Saveljic clinched the match for the Wolfpack, winning 7-6(5), 7-6(3).

Igor Saveljic concluded the match for the Pack, earning a, 4-6, 7-6(5), 1-0 victory at No. 6 singles.

Notes:
Thomas Weigel rallied from 3-0 down in the second set to win six-straight games and the overall match.

Simon Norenius earn the Pack's second win over a top-20 singles opponent this season with a win over 18^th-ranked Dovydas Sakinis.

NC State will be back in action Sunday against USC (12:30 pm) and Bryant(4 pm).
