
Rebol and Wiktorin Earn Ranked Win, Pack Falls 5-2 at No. 13 LSU

Joanna Nalborska earned singles win for the Pack in her first sweep of the season

BATON ROUGE, LA. - The NC State women's tennis team began with a strong showing in doubles competition at No. 13 LSU Friday afternoon but couldn't take down its highest ranked opponent to date, dropping the dual 5-2.
Freshman pair Amanda Rebol and Claudia Wiktorin opened the match with a ranked 6-4 victory over No. 60 duo Ella Taylor and Skylar Holloway. Martina Frantova and Tayla Stenta also found success in doubles play, downing Skylar Kuykendall and Abby Owens 7-6 to earn NC State the doubles point.
Joanna Nalborska collected the lone singles victory for the Pack. Nalborska swept Skylar Kuykendall 6-2, 6-4.
The Pack returns to action Saturday, Feb. 13 at Louisiana-Lafayette with first serve set for 1:30 p.m.
