Wolfpack Posts Best RPI in Program History

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The NC State women's soccer team finished the year with a final RPI of 34, setting the best mark in program history since the NCAA began archiving the stat in 2000.
The Pack's RPI marks a 186-spot improvement from 220th in 2015 to the current ranking of 34th.
NC State recently completed its best season in 20 years, which concluded with a trip to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Championship. During the Pack's breakthrough year, the team earned two results against top-10 opponents on the road, had its second-best ACC season in program history and ended a 20-year NCAA Championship appearance drought.
The Pack's coaching staff was selected as the NSCAA Southeast Staff of the Year and is currently a finalist for the NSCAA National Staff of the Year. Tziarra King was honored as an All-ACC and NSCAA Southeast All-Region selection, while Kristina Schuster made the All-Region team and Kia Rankin earned All-ACC honors.
