
Two From Pack To Compete At Winter Nationals

Hannah Moore and Rachel Muller to swim in a combined seven events
 RALEIGH- Hannah Moore and Rachel Muller of the No. 6 NC State women's swimming and diving team are set to compete at the 2016 AT&T Winter National Championships Thursday through Saturday in Atlanta, Ga.

The meet will be held inside Georgia Tech's McAuley Aquatic Center. Prelims will begin at 9 a.m. each day, while finals will commence at 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday and at 4:50 p.m. Saturday.

Order Of Events
Moore, a member of the U.S. National Team, is slated to swim in four events over the weekend, and Muller is set to compete in three.

The top-ranked men's squad earned a dominating win at the GAC Invite (Nov. 17-19) in Greensboro, N.C., with 2,133 points among a field with two top 25 programs, while the women managed to pull out a team win with 1,938 points and took down four top 25 teams in the process.
Throughout the weekend the program racked up 92 'B' cuts and five 'A' cuts as well as 26 event wins in Greensboro.Â
Pack In The Polls
Thanks to an impressive weekend in Greensboro, both squads held their respective listings in the latest CSCAA national poll (Nov. 23). The men topped the rankings for the second-straight week while the women checked in at No. 6 to sit among the top 10 for the third consecutive week.
Senior captain Alexia Zevnik also tabbed ACC Female Swimmer of the Week honors (Nov. 22) after winning six of eight events and earning seven NCAA 'B' cuts and one 'A' cut.
