RALEIGH – The NC State women's basketball team continues its season opening four-game home stand Wednesday night, hosting Hampton on Kay Yow Court inside Reynolds Coliseum. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. with live coverage provided by ACC Network Extra.

NC State moved up in both national polls during the second week of the regular season, and now currently sits No. 35 in the AP poll and No. 35 in the USA Today poll.

Freshman Aislinn Konig led all scorers with 13 points in her career debut while junior Chelsea Nelson recorded her second career double-double in the win. The Wolfpack held Wofford to an 0-14 mark from the field in the first quarter and never trailed in the game.

Seniors Miah Spencer (98 games played for NC State) and Jennifer Mathurin (95) are very close to reaching the mark of 100 games played at NC State. Marissa Kastanek (2009-13) holds the program record of 133 career appearances. With four points in the win over Wofford, Spencer moved into sole possession of 24th place on the Wolfpack's all-time scoring list.
