LATE LINEUP ADJUSTMENT
NC State had a very solid day Sunday even in the face of adversity, as a late injury forced the Wolfpack to shake up its starting lineup. Freshman Benjamin Shipp—who has earned two top-10 finishes in the first three tournaments of his career—was removed from the lineup late due to an injury. The NC State coaching staff shifted the lineup, moving Chad Cox from an individual spot to a starting role and adding freshman Christian Salzer to the individual position.
Â
TIED HIS CAREER LOW
Cox performed admirably Sunday after stepping into the starting lineup. The senior tied his lowest career round during his second time through the course, shooting a 68 (-4).
Â
MONDAY TEE TIMES
NC State begins the third and final round of the Bridgestone Golf Collegiate with a shotgun start Monday morning at 8:30 a.m. NC State golfers are paired with competitors from Liberty and host UNCG and will tee off on holes 4-7.
