NC State to Host Wolfpack Invitational This Weekend

RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State men's tennis team will continue its fall slate, as it welcomes nine other teams to the Wolfpack Invitational. The tournament will feature three singles and three doubles draws all set to be played at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center Friday through Sunday.
Wolfpack Competitors:
All nine Wolfpackers will compete in the tournament, which will mark a career debut for Paul Spencer.
The Competition:
NC State will host regional competition, as Duke, Campbell, Liberty, UNCW, James Madison, The Citadel, Elon, ECU and Radford will travel to Raleigh.
Weekend Format:
All six draws will feature a main draw and back draw. The matches will be played on all 10 courts at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center. Main draw singles will be two out of three tie-break sets. Back draw matches will be two out of three sets with a match tie-breaker in place of the third set. Doubles will be an eight-game pro-set with a tie-breaker at 7-7. All matches will be played using No-Ad scoring.
Friday and Saturday will feature three rounds of play between singles and doubles action, while Sunday will have a final round of singles play.

NC State wrapped up competition at the ITA All-American Championships and the ITA Carolina Regional the past two weekends. Nick Horton picked up two wins at the ITA All-American Championships, and Alexis Galarneau advanced to the round of 16 at the Carolina Regional to highlight the tournaments for the Pack.
